אֲלִיקִי, אַלְעִיקִי(a disguise of אלהים for the purpose of avoiding the utterance of the divine name, cmp. אֱלֹוהַּ) by God! forsooth (ironically). Pesik. Baḥod. p. 104a> אלי׳ אני תובע בה Ar.
